TINS 2024 will address technical, managerial, political, environmental, economic, and social aspects related to the nuclear engineering sector, enabling the discussion of challenges faced by both the academic and professional communities.

The event will feature speakers from various regions of Brazil and abroad, as well as 10 technical sessions for the presentation of academic papers in thematic areas: Safety and Security in the Nuclear Sector, Applications of Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Innovations, Nuclear Reactor Technologies, and Knowledge Management.

The realization of TINS 2024 will involve participation from individuals associated with academia, the private sector, and the government (municipal, state, and federal), demonstrating the breadth of its impact. Regarding participants from academia, notable participation from professors and researchers from various Federal and State Universities in Brazil, as well as Institutes and Technological Education Centers from different states, is highlighted, which enhances the dissemination of knowledge, even indirectly, to a technical high school and technologist audience. Additionally, we expect participation from professors and professionals from renowned international institutions.
