TINS 2023 was organized by the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute of Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (COPPE) in conjunction with the Environmental Analysis and Computational Simulation Laboratories (LAASC) and the Laboratory of Simulation and Methods in Engineering (LASME), along with the Brazilian Association for the Development of Nuclear Activities (ABDAN) and the Brazilian Association of Nuclear Energy (ABEN).

TINS 2023 took place on December 12th and 13th, 2023, at the COPPE Auditorium (CT2/UFRJ) located at Rua Moniz de Aragão, 1070, Cidade Universitária, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - RJ.
